A fire prevention apparatus for heavy construction equipment is provided to cut off a fuel supply valve and a main relay automatically by detecting a fire occurring in an engine room and on an upper revolving body at the rear of a cabin in the early stage. A fire prevention apparatus for heavy construction equipment comprises many temperature response sensors(9) fixed to the inside of an engine room or one side of an upper revolving body adjacent to the engine room to detect the generation temperature, and a control unit(8) connected to the temperature response sensor, a fuel cutoff valve(2) and a main relay and comparing the generation temperature detected by the temperature response sensors with the preset fire temperature, and the controlling with a relay off signal and a valve closing signal in case of a fire. |
