A container 2 made from a foldable sheet material comprises a container body 4 having an access opening and a hinged lid 6 mounted to said body portion 4 for closing said opening. A tongue 74 projecting from the lid 6 frictionally engages within a slot 38 on the container body 4 for maintaining the lid 6 in an open position. The lid may be separate and attached to the container by attachment panels and the lid may be maintained in an open position by a latch mechanism or by frictional retention means. The container may be made from a waterproof or water resistant foldable sheet material. |
