A channel searching device of a digital broadcast receiver is provided to enable a user to notify the user's favorite channel when successively changing channel by setting a little longer delay time at registered user's favorite channel. A digital broadcast receiver comprises a demultiplexer(8), a video decoder(12), a major channel decoder, a favorite channel management unit(14), and a screen configuration part(15). The favorite channel management unit manages the user's favorite channel information. The channel scan screen configuration part maintains the user's favorite channel little longer than other channel when the user's changes channel successively in order. |
