<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-purity cadaverine in a high reaction yield, in a high purification yield in a high concentration and at a high reaction speed. <P>SOLUTION: The problem of the invention is solved by bringing a cell crushed liquid of Escherichia coli to which L-lysine decarboxylase gene having an N-terminal amino acid sequence provided with 6 histidines is transferred or Escherichia coli having the L-lysine decarboxylase gene localized on the surface of the cell into contact with high-concentrated L-lysine monohydrochloride. Further, the problem is solved by forming cadaverine in the high concentration in the high reaction yield and in the high production speed, adjusting the reaction solution to pH ≥13, extracting the reaction product with a polar organic solvent, collecting cadaverine by distillation and producing cadaverine from L-lysine monohydrochloride without controlling pH by treating L-lysine monohydrochloride with L-lysine decarboxylase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
