<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization detecting method for simplifying processing to comprehensively quicken synchronization establishment, and for reducing the usage of a memory and a synchronization detecting circuit using the synchronization detecting method. <P>SOLUTION: This synchronization detecting method and its circuit are configured to compare the data of a reception data storing circuit 2 with a synchronizing signal pattern for comparison of a synchronizing signal pattern table 5 for comparison set by a number of symbol setting circuit 6 by a comparator circuit 3, and to divide the compared data into high order bits and low order bits, and to calculate the number of error bits of data by a table 4 for referring to the number of error bits and the comparator circuit 3, and to store the total of the number of error bits in an error counter 8, and to compare the value stored in the error counter 8 with a set threshold by a synchronization deciding circuit 7 for making synchronization decision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
