发明名称 PROCESSO PARA O ACLARAMENTO OTICO CONTINUO DE MATERIAL FIBROSO ORGANICO
摘要 1302101 Brightening textiles CIBA-GEIGY AG 10 April 1970 [11 April 1969] 17230/70 Heading DIP In a process for the non-aqueous optical brightening of organic fibre material, the material is impregnated with a solution of at least one optical brightener salt consisting of (a) an anionic radical of an anionic optical brightener and (b) at least one organic nitrogen compound containing at least one N-atom capable of salt formation, in a solvent consisting of one or more unsubstituted or halogenated hydrocarbons with a B.Pt. of 50-150‹C, alone or in admixture with a water soluble organic solvent boiling below 220‹C; the bulk of the excess solvent is removed from the material, and the brightening is finished by a heat treatment below the softening point of the fibre material. The solvent mixture preferably consists of 80-99% by weight of hydrocarbon and 20-1 % by weight of water soluble organic solvent. The production of the optical brightener salts can be performed in the solvent or solvent mixture, but preferably they are previously prepared, e.g. by double reaction of the alkali metal or ammonium salts of the optical brightener with a salt of an above mentioned organic nitrogen compound with a strong acid, e.g. hydrochloric, or alternatively by direct neutralisation of the anionic optical brightener as the free acid with the organic nitrogen compounds. The impregnating of the fibre material is carried out by coating, spraying or especially by padding. Fibre materials which may be treated are: cellulose 2¢ and triacetate, polyethylene glycol terephthalate, polyurethane, polymeric and copolymeric acrylo- and methacrylonitrile, polyethylene and polypropylene, cotton, viscose, wool and Polyamide 6 or 66. The fibre material is continuously passed through the brightening liquor, containing 0.01-10% by weight of optical brightener at room temperature and then squeezed out until it contains 30-150% by weight of the impregnating solution, relative to the dry weight of the material. The impregnated fibre material is then treated at 70-220‹C, optionally after preliminary drying in a hot air stream at 40-80‹C. Preferably the finishing is carried out with saturated steam between 95-105‹C.
