Electric welding machine with separate transformer - - for welding raised sheet edges

Welding machine supplied with welding current from a separate transformer connected to it by a flexible cable and used for welding raised edges of sheets which are pressed together has >=2 welding wheels arranged face to face on each side of the raised edges and connected to jaws moved e.g. hydraulically to create a clamped area around the wheels. At least one pair of drive rollers are arranged face to face on each side of the raised edges with their axes inclined towards the front of the machine relatively to the direction perpen-dicular to the sheets and driven at the same speed but in opposite directions. The drive rollers are fixed to jaws which are e.g. manually moved to create a clamped area around the rollers.
