Tunnel is for freezing fruit and vegetables. Goods to be frozen run on two belts in cascade, one behind the other, through the tunnel. The evaporator for the tunnel is made from identical sections erected one behind the other at right-angles to the axis of the belts. A feeder line and a return line for the evaporator run along the belt axes, near the sections.
