<p>Bending appts. produces end bending of a steel plate in a single operation such that a cylindrical shape can be manufactured without leaving a flattened portion. The plate is inserted between an upper roll and a pair of lower rolls. The lower rolls are supported on a base stand. The upper roll is supported at its ends by a pair of supporting stands which can be moved horizontally along the base stand. Vertical movement of the upper roll is effected by hydraulic piston/cylinders incorporated in the supporting stands.</p> |
