<p>Textile thread (e.g. shuttleless loom weft) metering device has relatively rotatable spool, for holding the metered amt. of thread, and thread winding guide, a braking system fo the movable element being adjustable and fully releasable. The adjustability can be used to compensate for wear of the friction material; the fully releasable feature facilitates re-threading after thread failure.</p> |
