Textile material has a plastic-coated and pigmented surface enabling it to be used for darkening school and nursery rooms, hospital wards, etc., during the daytime. The textile consists of a light, calendered linen fabric with a layer of synthetic resin on either side, pref. a layer of polyurethane, contg. metal particles on one side and TiO2 on the other.
