Device for use in applying e.g. epoxy resin coatings, comprises a filter chamber, suction fan and collector below the filter chamber for the powder; the filters are mounted on vertical filter plates suspended from the top of the filter chamber and attached at their bottom edges to a vibrator or shaker; this shaker comprises a pneumatic cylinder impulse-regulated by an air pulse valve; the piston rod of this unit carries a weight which is oscillated by the piston.
