<p>The polyamide or polyester monofilament material, with its spaced projections, is inserted spirally as a weft into the knitting process, the projections equalling the needle interval so that the stitches of the knitted ribs of the carrier pass round the flat sections between the projections. Stiffens the material allowing thinner monofilaments to be used as the teeth, and to utilise the full capacity of the knitting machine.</p> |
