<p>Pyrrolidines of formula I, where R2 and R3 = alkyl, N = 2 or 3 (and X1 and X2 are not defined), have atropine activity and are intermediates for antispasmodics. I are prepared by condensing HR'-Hal with the corresp. 3-pyrrolidone via an alkaline condensing HR1-Hal wit the corresp. 3-pyrrolidone via an alkaline condensing agent e.g. Na, or a Lialkyl, or a Grignard, hydrolysing, and dehydrating.</p> |
