Plastics injection moulding machine has a magnetic flow control valve arranged in the main pipe extending between the hydraulic pump, the valve for opening/closing the mould and the four-way valve for reciprocating the injection piston; a pressure control valve connected to the overpressure valve effecting pressure control, and possessing an electromagnet for adjusting the opening pressure of the overpressure valve; a device (I) for adjusting the current density connected via an amplifier to the electromagnets of the flow control valve and the pressure control valve; and an electrical control device for adjusting the device (I) depending on the movements of another device for opening/closing the mould, and the injection device. Provides automatic control of the velocity curves for mould opening/closing, and the injection velocity curve, and the corresp. pressure curves depending on the predefined current intensity. Low noise level. Simple hydraulic system, thus facilitating operation and maintenance.
