After burner for flue gases - has an after burner chamber and a heat exchanger for cooling flue gases and for preheating combustion air

Afterburner system for flue gases burns the mixture of flue gases and the air which are at such a temp. that this afterburning is carried out without additional fuel or injection of catalysts. The afterburner chamber is enclosed by annular chambers for the air which is preheated in the heat exchanger. This preheated afterburning air is ducted into the afterburner chamber by means of tubes connected to the annular flow path. This afterburner is used for refuse incinerators, in which refuse is burnt by using an auxiliary gas burner.
