Simultaneous supervisory and clock recording of several persons - checks clock time, common time presence and misuse

The equipment described has two forms. The first is an automatic clocking device for work personnel which starts counting 'time at work' for each member when a personal security key is inserted. To cater for 'flexitime', insertion of the key is blocked and a lamp illuminated at the beginning of common time (when all personnel must be present). Late comers must then get the assistance of a supervisor to be able to insert their key. To reduce mis-use by leaving keys inserted a supervisory timer (e.g. 24 hrs.) checks the presence of keys and disconnects the time counter connected by any key still in place. Reconnection requires the assistance of the supervisor. The second form uses electronic control with punched cards for clocking in personnel.
