<p>Title cpds. have formula (I) (where R1 and R2 are H, 3-8C alkyl or a ligand capable of forming a chelate; n is a whole number; M is Ti or Zr). Pref. when R1 R2 are H, n is >1; when R1 and/or R2 is a ligand, n = 1, and the ligand contains an O or N atom chelated to the metal. A pref. substance is (II). The compsns, which contain (I) in a transparent or translucent form, absorb the wavelengths causing burning more effectively than those causing tanning.</p> |
