<p>The equipment allows calibrated volumes of liquid to be treated simultaneously in storage vessels. Two sets of metering vessels opposite each other are filled alternately by feed tubes, there being an overflow vessel between them. The volume to be treated in each vessel is regulated by variable-height discharge nozzles, each connected at the base via a tap and a flexible pipe to a three-way cock movable up and down. One outlet from this cock is connected via a flexible pipe to the vessel feed cock, and the other to a drain pipe. The taps on each vessel in a set open simultaneously by means of a handle and linkage.</p> |
