Photographic camera has electronic shutter control and manual and automatic exposure control, with light emitting diodes in the exposure control circuit conventionally as indicators, to act as a light balance during manual control. During automatic control, the diodes light up only in the region between the shortest exposure time and longest blur-free exposure time, remaining dark in the region of longer times. Preferably the diodes (LED) are connected such that they light up equally brightly during automatic control, in the region between the shortest and the longest blur-free exposure times. Space requirements are minimal.
