<p>The rotary wheels of the hay making machine are supported on a hinged link arm system which extends forwards to the tractor. The linkages enable height adjustments to be made, and are in the form of short connecting rods which are coupled by horizontal rods (32, 33, 29, 31). The machine is connected to the tractor at the front end by a three point suspension coupling device and has a vertical support rod to maintain the position of the machine when detached from the towing vehicle. Coupling from the tow-bar to the gear box is by a non-central connecting rod, to enable the tractor to drive along a previously cut path.</p> |
