<p>The support comprises an externally flanged (1a, 1b) 'U' sectioned plastic unit (1), and a metallic 'C' section unit (3) which slides onto the flanged unit (1). The rail (4) is wedged between the unit (1) flanges (1a, 1b) and the inner vertical face (3c) of unit (3). The flanged unit (1) is fixed by a screw (2) to the woodwork. The internal width of the 'C' section is equal to or less than that of the 'U' flanges (e) plus rail width (t). The inner depth of the 'C' is stepped, being greater in the area of flange reception, and the inner face (3c) of the 'C' is grooved to reduce its bearing surface.</p> |
