The transmitting station is accurately tuned-in by the automatic system and can be observed on the receiving set for only a specified, adjustable period, after which the next sender is found, until a sender is judged by the operator as worth receiving. He then stops the search run by hand. The sender search system can be switched either to the search with intervals, or to a normal search. The tuning-in time, for example three or four seconds, can be speeded up by the user pressing the holding push button twice upon which the next station is tuned in.
