The hose has an annular groove by which the electrical conductors, in the material from which the hose is made are bared enabling an electric cable to be branched off. Each conductor in the cable is electrically connected with a conductor in the hose each conductor being electrically insulated from their respective continuing conductor section in the hose. The annular groove is covered, in pressure-proof fashion, by a sleeve fitted with a cable connection piece. Electrical branch connections (terminals) may be fitted to the conductors at places other than the ends of the hose.
