<p>An inset for packages, comprises a synthetic, elastomeric, foam of apparent density 10-50, pref. 17, kp/m3, and hardness (DIN 53576) 4-10. It is esp. used in cartons and for wrapping jewellery. It dispenses with prior art use of cotton wool whilst affording adequate protection. The jewellery remains visible for convenient display, and, since it is not clipped into the inset it may be easily removed for demonstration etc.</p> |
