The emblem comprises two glass discs upstanding from a metal, plastics or wood base, the discs being secured to the base via a clamp ring running round the periphery of the discs and fitting over a coupling pin attached to the upper surface of the base. The light bulb is fixed in a bulb socket attached to the base and surrounded by the coupling pin, so that the bulb lies within the space enclosed by the two discs. The club emblem is engraved or printed on the outer surface of one or both of the glass discs.
