<p>The invention comprises compounds of formula <FORM:1090271/C2/1> wherein R is C1- 10 alkylene, R1 is H, alkyl (optionally substituted by HO, alkoxy, carboxy or CN), cycloalkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, aralkyl, aralkenyl, aryl, acyl or tetrahydrofurfuryl, R11 is as defined for R1 or carboxyl, halo, nitro, alkoxy, alkenoxy, aryloxy, acyloxy or alkylmercapto, and X is an inorganic anion. These compounds are prepared by reacting R1-NH-C6H4R11 with a C2- 11 alkenyl- or halo-nitrile, followed by nitrosation, reduction and diazotization.</p> |
