Dry shaver with electric motor drive - has eccentric actuated cutter lever with rubber spring plug

The dry shaver has a cutting plate and a reciprocating cutting head. The shaver is driven by an electric motor with an eccentric drive. The reciprocating movement is imposed by the eccentric drive and a flexible rubber spring arrangement which has smooth movement characteristics and long life. The double arm lever (15) has a rubber component (24) which is connected to the vibrating lever (15). The centre of this circular rubber component is fixed on the shaver frame. The vibrating lever circular hub has internal serrations for ensuring contact with the rubber plug. Alternatively the rubber plug can be vulcanised to the lever hub bore. This lever is actuated by the eccentric (17) which is driven by the shaft (18) of the motor. This eccentric is held in the slot of one lever arm.
