Pallet for carrying and transporting goods such as post office parcels includes supporting wheels and if required one of its sides is fitted with latticed screen consisting of individual enclosed surfaces. The pallet is provided below its loading surface (2) with supports or feet (50) which can be activated to offload the pallet wheels (71) and to support the load. At least two of the corner points of the flat latticed side screens (8) are identical so that a horizontally positioned latticed side screen (8) is with its corner points engaging corresponding fitting in corner posts (10) and thereby forms a stable roomy framework.
