<p>Activated polymer surface is prepared by contacting a clean non-active unconditioned polymer surface with a liquid activating composition containing at least one reactive conditioning agent in combination with at least an ion of a metal selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium, silver and gold, wherein the reactive conditioning agent contains sulfuric acid and chromic acid. The polymer surface may contain acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer.</p> |
