<p>The chair has a back rest (12) and a seat (14) on which the skiers sit and a guard rail (16) from which hang two T pieces (24) on which the feet are placed. The guard rail is pivotted (22) and there are two triangular plates (26), (28) fixed to the back rest pivot. The plates (26, 28) carry rods (30, 30', 32, 32', 34) which form a pair of forks used to carry skis. The ski carrier has a stop (36) engaging the seat in the correct carrier position. The skis are housed transversely to the line of the cable, once the ski carrying part has been tilted backwards. The method can also be used with detachable type seats.</p> |
