<p>A plant for sorting and grading living fish from a large collector tank, has a hopper and two grids formed by long hollow profiles, arranged one above the other and adjustable so as to form parallel tunnels of variable dimensions, as well as a number of outlets from the frame holding the grids, through which the fish reach the separate graded containers. A series of motor driven endless belts move the fish forward into the measuring tunnels, aligning each fish into a definite space which measures its dimensions without deformation or damage. Accurate measurement. Quick throughput. No danger of harming the fish. Specially suited to the stringent requirements of the farmed trout trade.</p> |
