A polycarbonate, such as diphenyl polycarbonate, is used to form the plastic sheets in the thermal insulating material of the parent invention. This material permits the sheets to have a minimum thickness of 0À5 micron and provides greater stiffness with lower thermal conductivity. Conical or pyramidal indentations of a tenth of a millimeter may be provided on the sheets. |
