Vehicle with movable drivers cab - has control wires carried on pulleys linked to parallelograms on scissor arms

The driving cab is able to move along rails (3) fitted lengthwise to the vehicle. The control wires (26) are guided round pulley wheels (10, 11) pivoted to parallelograms linked to scissor arms (8, 9), one end of each side being linked to the drivers cab and the opposite ends being fitted to the front end of the vehicle. The scissors arms are linked in series and are fitted in the vehicle below the cab and covered by a plate (5). The pulleys are fitted to the parallelogram by a single arm whose centre has an elongated opening to engage with the scissors link pin. One end of the arm is pivoted to the parallelogram and the opposite end carries the pulley wheel.
