Crackle-free logarithmic voltage divider - has linear resistance path carrying slider and which is connected to discrete parallel resistors
摘要

The crack-free logarithmic voltage divider consists of a chain of Pi - networks formed by a continuous linear resistance path (6) and a series of discrete shunt resistors (9). Each shunt resistor is connected at one end to the resistance path and at the other to a common conducting rail. The discrete resistors are spaced at equal intervals along the resistance path. The common rail is connected to an output terminal for load at one end to an input terminals or signal source at the other. The resistance path is connected at one end to an input terminal. A slider moves along the resistance path and is connected to the second output terminal.
