The light-structure internal walls, with hollow spaces, incorporating panels on both sides of a skeleton frame, are esp suitable for subsequent installation, in rooms in old buildings as well as in new ones, and can be made as fire retarding units by use of appropriate materials. The door-case to be fitted into such a wall is of bent sheet metal, with two vertical bars and a horizontal one. The two independent peripheral profiles (1, 2) comprising this are joined to each other by a heat-retarding block (3). Interconnection may be by means of screws through an interior beam (8), braced against the peripheral profiles by a heat-insulating layer.
