Road edge deflector for restricting road width - has inclined surface for automatically redirecting vehicle to road

The inclined edge deflector is used to restrict the width of the road to a specified value. The deflector is used for example on narrow bridges, main roads and on entry passages. This arrangement redirects automatically and without damage the vehicles deviating from the travelling direction to the specified travelling path. The deflector surface (3) is arranged at an angle varying between ten and forty degrees to the road surface and this surface has raised ridges (10) arranged at regular intervals. The inclination of these short ribs to the edge of the road edge (1) is less than sixty degrees. The edge deflector has a step whose height varies between three and six centimetres from the road surface.
