<p>The sleeve is intended for electrical indicating apparatus, to couple the signal device to the control lever. It can be used for a hand or motor operated drive. Two rings (2, 3) fit round the sleeve (1) forming a wedge-shaped groove (4) between them. The width of the groove is less than the thickness of the cable (5). There are gaps (6) in each ring positioned alternately between the two rings. The sections between the gaps are shaped as teeth. The sleeve is held on the shaft (10) by a spring (9) compressing a slot cut along the sleeve. The advantage is that the cable is easily fitted in the sleeve and is safety held in position.</p> |
