The induction motor is without housing and has a built-in capacitor for starting or running. It has a bundle of laminations to receive the winding. The bundle comprises middle laminations with specially stamped end plates. At least one bearing bracket or plate is held centrally from the stamped and unprocessed outer contours of the end plates. The middle laminations (5) are manufactured to present an integral trough-shaped receptacle (3) parallel to the motor axis. The free ends of the elements (2), made of e.g. sprung metal, are preferably turned over to form hooks to grip the similarly hook-shaped projections (7).
