Water or any other liquid is collected in a vessel (15) and passes along a channel (14) to a secondary vessel (10) which has an orifice (11) in the bottom. The water passes into the channel between the two vanes (5) where the airflow vaporises it and transports to the upper end of the channel where it meets chicanes (12). The water is collected by the chicanes and passes to a vessel (13) and the cycle is repeated to raise the water through further stages. The water is finally collected in a vessel (16) where its acquired potential energy is available for conversion to mechanical power. There are no moving mechanical parts in the installation. |
