In a brush-like construction for artificial Christmas tree branches, wreaths and the like a mixture of at least two synthetic fibres at least one of which is a halogencontaining fibre is twisted between wires, the halogen-containing fibre being present in at least 10% by volume of the total mixture. The fibres may be of such mixtures as polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene, the object being to obtain a mixture of non-flammable characteristics.</p> |
