<p>Snow-sweeping machine incorporates a release clutch as an overloading safety device, or a shear-off safety device, for the revolving appliances, esp. for the advance cutting: propellers on rotary snowploughs, where thee is an extension tube on the shafts carrying the scoop wheels. The machine is fitted with a control device giving the driver acoustic or visual indication of the release of the overloading safety device. Impulse for the indicators is released by the difference in motion between the operative appliance and its drive shaft. The control device is pref. an eccentric cut out in the hub of the appliance, with a plunger protruding into it, connected to a switch to release the indicator, at the end of the shaft extension tube.</p> |
