<p>Trisazo dyes of formula (I): (in which R is of formula: R1 is anilino, toluidino, OH or alpha-posn. or NH2 in beta-posn.; M is H or a cation equiv.), are used for dyeing or printing of natural or regenerated cellulose, natural of synthetic polyamides, polyurethanes or basic-modified polyolefins, esp. paper or leather, in dark blue to deep black shaded. On leather the dyes show good fastness to light, rubbing, migration against PVC, solvents and formaldehyde. On paper they show good fastness to light, alkalis and acids, with good pH stability and substantivity to bleached and unbleached cellulose.</p> |
