<p>The slicer has a pivoted, handle actuated long slender cutting blade held on a support frame. The blade is parallel with an adjustable stop arrangement on the frame for determining the slide thickness. The frame, preferably a light alloy casting, has a handle (3) and lateral extensions (2a) on both ends for holding the ends of the blade (4). The stop (8), made from plastics, is adjusted by a longitudinal slide (9) moving in sloping grooves (8b, 8c). The angle of these grooves is sufficient to ensure locking. A scale is provided on the side to adjust the blade distance from the guide stop, and thus the slice thickness. The device is for slicing food products.</p> |
