<p>The leg protector for dangerous sports consists of a cylinder (1) with a domed top surface, made of leather or plastics sheet material, packed with two or more layers of resilient balls (2, 3) intended to absorb quite heavy impacts, and made of synthetic material. The pressure inside the lower layer is less than the pressure inside the upper layer(s) of balls, and they may be attached to one another by adhesive, or remain free. These balls are filled with air. The size of the cylinder may enable it to protect the knee, the ankle.</p> |
