<p>The roof edge shaped-section unit, made of asbestos cement or similar material, is esp., for use on flat roofs with a capping shank, extending above one side of the roof, with a longitudinal edge parallel to the external wall, and with a downwards directed screening shank on the longitudinal edge facing away from the side of the external wall. On the longitudinal side facing away from the screening shank (6), the capping shank (4) is fitted with a fixing flange (5). This flange pref., lies across the capping shank, approx., at right angles to it; may be formed in a panel shape, and run through continuously over the length of the capping shank. The edge shaped-section for a flat or attica-type roof facilitates easy manipulation and installation, irrespective of the dimensional characteristics of the building.</p> |
