The wire is normally held in position by a soft solder and the wire is surrounded with insulating material which acts as an arc extinguishing composition when the solder melts and the wire is pulled out of position breaking the circuit. The insulating material is an inorganic powder which is packed in a damp-proof enclosure. The tensioning spring (11) is surrounded by a copper wire (10) and is contained in a cylindrical housing(2). This slots into a pipe element (3), which holds a cylindrical container (1) surrounding the wire (7) which is held in a solder element (6). The arc extinguishing material (13) consists of a sleeve surrounding the wire.
