The ambient thermal energy conversion device has a fuel cell (1) which produces electrical energy from chemical reactants, a thermolyser (2) decomposing under the action of the heat produced by the products of the chemical reaction and regenerating the initial reactants. A thermopump (3) is operated by a fraction of the energy produced in the fuel cell and provides the heat energy necessary for the operation of the thermolyser (2). The thermolyser uses a catalytic process effective at temperatures below the spontaneous dissociation temperatures of the products treated, the fuel cell functioning at a temperature above the highest operating temperature of the thermolyser.
|
