<p>Cpds. of formula (I) (where R is 1-5C alkyl; n is 2-7; R1 is H or R2CO-; R2 is 1-5C alkyl). (I) have pharmacological props., they have a marked antilipolytic activity and reduce plasma levels of free fatty acids. They are useful in treatment of acute or chronic hyperlipaemia, coronary insufficiency, atheromatose cardiac insufficiency and chronic angina. Doses are e.g. 0.1-2.5g/day orally, for adult humans.</p> |
