<p>The resistance heating element is used for a high temperature oven, with a vacuum or controlled atmosphere, controlled by singla phase of polyphase current. The heating element is formed by a number of parallel metal bands (10, 10a) of constant section and of long length in comparison to their width, the bands be connected together two-by-two at each end so as to form a continuous current path. The end strips (11, 12) connecting the bands together are of constant section, the section of the strips being at least equal to that of the bands, but their width being between 2 and 4 times the width of the bands (10, 10a).</p> |
